meebd is a hosted platform that lets anyone open an online store and get paid the way customers already pay.
What we are building
Many small businesses in Bangladesh sell through Facebook pages and chat. Orders get lost in inboxes, stock lives in a notebook and a payment is a screenshot. meebd replaces that with a store that has a catalogue, a checkout, an order list and a stock count.
We start from how people here really pay: cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad and bank transfer, with SSLCommerz for cards and online payment. We keep the platform out of the money: customers pay you directly.
