1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the meebd website and platform to create and run an online store. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use meebd for a business, you confirm that you may bind that business.
meebd is operated by [operator name, registered address and registration number].
2. Your account
Give us accurate details, keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the team members you invite do.
3. Your store and your content
You own the products, text, images and data you add. You allow meebd to store, copy and display them as needed to run your store.
You are responsible for what you sell, for the accuracy of your listings, and for following the laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, tax and import rules.
4. What you may not do
You agree not to:
- sell goods or services that are illegal or that you have no right to sell;
- infringe the intellectual property or privacy of others;
- send spam or use customer data for purposes the customer did not agree to;
- try to break into the platform, into another store or into another user's account;
- overload the platform or use the API in a way that harms other users.
5. Goods and services you may not sell
You may not list, advertise or sell the following. We may remove a listing, hide a store or suspend an account that breaks this section, and may tell the authorities where the law requires it. This list is a starting point; a lawyer must confirm what applies to your business in Bangladesh.
- medicines, medical devices or health products that need a licence or a prescription, unless you hold the licence and show it when we ask;
- narcotics and controlled or intoxicating substances;
- weapons, ammunition and explosives;
- counterfeit, copied or pirated goods, and anything stolen;
- betting, gambling, lotteries and lucky-draw schemes;
- multi-level marketing and pyramid schemes;
- any goods or services whose sale is banned, or needs a permit that you do not have.
6. Plans, fees and billing
meebd has a free plan and paid plans. The current prices, limits and any transaction fee are shown on the pricing page.
Paid plans are billed by invoice. A plan applies once we confirm the payment. If a paid plan expires, your store continues with the limits of the free plan. We may change plans, prices, limits and fees, and we will tell you before a change affects you.
7. Payments between you and your customers
meebd does not take part in the sale between you and your customers and does not hold your money. Customers pay you directly, or through a payment provider you connect, such as SSLCommerz, under that provider's terms.
You are responsible for confirming payments, delivering orders, handling returns and refunds and issuing invoices.
8. Your customers' data
Information about your customers belongs to you. We process it on your behalf to provide the service. You must have a lawful reason to collect it and to send customers marketing, and you must follow the privacy laws that apply to you.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep meebd available but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance. Support is given by email and from your dashboard, without a guaranteed response time.
10. Suspension and ending
You can stop using meebd at any time, and you can export your data before you do. We may suspend or close a store that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or has unpaid invoices, and we will explain why where we can.
11. Liability
meebd is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost sales or profit, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using meebd after a change, you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [country, to be confirmed by counsel]. Courts in [city, to be confirmed by counsel] have jurisdiction.
